This design began as a required emergency egress connection to provide rear-service to all of the client’s properties and through careful investigation became an amenity and value-driver for the developer in addition to restoring native plant communities to this historic flood plain. The construction budget was the same as the cost to install a basic concrete path and lawn throughout.
